'We loved our stay here. We were traveling to Maryland and stopped here for an overnight. Communication with the host was easy and we certainly had plenty of space to spread out. Really, the only downside is that it's maybe 15-20 minutes off the highway, so a little bit out of the way, but we felt safe in the neighborhood and there is a designated parking spot for visitors. The bed was comfortable, you can use the washer and dryer if you need, there is a mini fridge for holding things...

'Salem Historic Downtown VRBO was exactly as described. It was close to downtown, and not far to walk or drive to eating locations. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, desk room, TV room, laundry room, and kitchen, were all very clean. If we ever have a reason to go back to Salem, VA., this is the first place I would check to see if it would be available. A MUST RENT IF YOU'RE STAYING IN SALEM, VA.'

'This was our second time staying at this location. When we knew we were returning to the area for a night, my kids begged me to stay at the same place we had last time. The owners are the most kind people you'll meet, the property is clean and beautiful, and the bed and sofa bed are super comfortable. I cannot recommend it enough. We can’t wait to go back!!'

'The cute tiny house has everything we needed and provided a relaxing getaway atmosphere. Star gazing and watching the wildlife were highlights. The close proximity to Floyd makes it convenient to go into town. Highly recommend checking out Five-Mile Mountain Distillery for incredible moonshine cocktails. Cheers and relax!'

'A favorite!! We returned here for a second stay because of the beautiful setting, the amenities that make a perfect haven for a stop-over on a long trip (refrigerator, pool, coffee options). So thankful for close proximity to quick morning hike (or a long one!).'

'Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts!'
