« Room not big enough for : suitcases What floor space there was was taken by a free standing AC unit the size of a small bar refrigerator which roared like a 747 picking clothes for the day involved houdini like manoeuvres! »

« Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience. »

« A great place to stay, especially when the sun is shining! Very comfortable room and a lovely breakfast. »

« Amazing location and charming spot. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The pub and wonderful outdoor area attracted many locals and travellers. The walks to and from Birling Gap were stunning. What a spot!! »

« Lovely place. Spacious & comfortable room, with a bath (which is always a bonus for me!). Delicious breakfast & really friendly staff. Very welcoming. We would definitely stay again when visiting Eastbourne. »

« This is a beautifully renovated hotel a short drive or bus ride from Brighton. The bus comes every 10 minutes and it’s a pretty drive into town. Our room had a gorgeous view over the south downs and the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. Would definitely recommend. »

« Great location, staff was very friendly and cooked us a very tasty breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Street parking was very full so had to park one street away but promenade and restaurants are all within walking distance so no need to move the car after securing a spot. »
