'Owner and family was super nice and friendly. Cabin backed up to a stream. So even though it rained off and on during my stay, I could open the back door and enjoy the serenity of the stream. The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well.'

'I couldn’t even stay the night. It was dirty. When I got there it was so hot I had to sit outside till the ac finally made it tolerable. The tv did not work- no directions on how to get on. I stayed for an hour and decided there was no way I could stay there so I left and drove home.'

'We were under the impression that there was access to the river on the property, but there seemed to be private property in between this listing and the river. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay and spent the weekend being lazy and enjoying the hot tub, the fire pit, and each other. '

'My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Cabin #1 Bella. The location was excellent for visiting family in Hacker Valley and our Daughter who was camping with her family at Holly River SP. There was plenty of room to relax in the living area, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower and bathroom were clean and accommodating. We would definitely stay again. '

'The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. 'This was a great overnight vacation experience. I love the whole concept, and the environment was peaceful and restful. To those needing more entertainment you’re gonna find the lack of TV lacking. For me, though I was able to watch movies with the free Wi-Fi and my computer. I also wanted to warn those of you who might be on a two wheel motorcycle that the parking downhill in gravel was a little challenging. I would definitely recommend this experience. '

'This was a little slice of heaven! Quiet, tranquil and perfectly off the beaten path. Everything was exactly as described and was well supplied for a week's stay. Excellent spot for stargazing and we loved Rodney the Rooster the best. I would highly recommend the tiny barn on the farm as the perfect place to get away from it all. '

'The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. The hosts were great with communication, offering to help when needed but also perfectly willing to keep a distance when we wanted to embrace the...
