'Hotel was very dated for the price. While it was very clean and the grounds were beautiful, the hotel rooms felt very old. I had breakfast at the restaurant, which was excellent. However, I was unable to charge it to the room and had only brought my room key with me. While this was easily resolved, I think the front desk should inform you of something like this at check in. I was there for one night and did not have an opportunity to use any facilities or do any activities.'

'Staff are always very friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed there multiple times this year due to the death of my mother in law. Rooms are clean. I truly appreciate their service for securing my laptop. To the person who found my laptop, thanks so very much for your kindness and honesty. May God bless your good and beautiful heart.'

'hotel nicely located near restaurants and shops; good stop while traveling the Blue Ridge Drive...'

'Ongelofelijk goed en netjes en mooie lokatie. Tegen deze prijs fantastisch '

'Clean, felt very safe and staff was super friendly and helpful'

'One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of...

'The rooms are really nicely decorated. My fiancé liked the spa tub. It is a great location.'

'The place was brand new and fantastic in all aspects, especially the parking, staff, and all in the room!'

'Het is er verschrikkelijk gehorig. Erg veel last van het verkeer buiten op straat. Hierdoor heel slecht en weinig geslapen. Het ontbijt was netjes. '

'This place looks to be over going a much needed revamp, terrible place at this time, smelt musty, it was very expensive for such a dump.'

'Hotel/Motel ligt in het oude centrum, vlakbij de hoofstraat met diverse restaurants'

'We have stayed here before. It’s okay. The location is great. The bed was comfortable. I like the 11:00 check out time. Everything was clean. The TV situation was a little sad. No movie channels and not a smart TV. The sheets were scratchy (there soft sheets used to be my favorite thing about this hotel). I don’t like having to check in at a different hotel and they no longer have complementary coffee in the communal space. The garden is no longer maintained and that is just sad. But,...

'Loved everything about it. The reception desk was so friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the coffee and treats in the hall area were a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was great. Thank you!!'
