'Lubec is lovely - the easternmost village in the United States. Lovely views from the room over the sound to Canadian islands, and you can drive across on a single-lane bridge. Almost no commercial razzmatazz unlike much of coastal Maine. The Inn on the Wharf and attached restaurant was fine. Other reviews have rightly noted that the restaurant can be loud, and service is pretty slow. For once, decent coffee, both in the restaurant and in the rooms. 'I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though'

'Peaceful lakefront getaway! "Wonderful one-night stay! Beautiful, quiet lakefront setting — the lodge was clean, cozy, and the guest kitchens had everything we needed. The jacuzzi in the large bathroom was the highlight for me and host Josh was welcoming and easy to reach. We'd definitely return!"'

'We had a great stay at the Stagecoach. The cabin is fun to stay at. It is not far from Acadia National Park. There were a few restaurants nearby including Scovils Millside Dining which had good food at great prices. The cabin was very, very clean. The outside shower was very cool. There was a picnic table and fire pit. The host met us there and went over all of the amenities and how everything works. We loved it.'

'The drive on the golden road was great, quiet, beautiful. The drive in the woods is priceless, open the car windows and breathe while driving in. Walking in the woods and starting to see the lake thought the trees was exciting. Arriving at the cabin take 5 before going in, enchanting! The walk to the cabin is like a fairy tale Christian was very helpful, and fast to respond to any messages. I can’t wait to be able go back'

'I was apprehensive about renting a room, but it turns ed out to be a very niece place. Not many choices in Lubec ME. Very nice bar restaurant, Water Street Tavern, in walking distance. Room was very well appointed. Glad I didn't let the pictures change my decision.'

'Super fun house and spot. The views were amazing, sunsets, peaceful and quiet. This is a rustic seasonal home but we really loved it. A little chilly till we found some more blankets. There is a propane fireplace which heats it up quickly but I would not leave that on overnight. The second bedroom is in a separate little studio and so you need to go outside to go to the cottage to use the bathroom. Also we did not notice re the tap water not potable and we used for coffee and tea :) so...
