'We so enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen/living room lived up to its billing. Had lots of great cooking vessels and utensils and the appliances were top- notch. I loved using the large kitchen table to prepare and eat our meals and I had all the needed utensils and equipment to do so. All of the rooms were thoughtfully and beautifully appointed. 'If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, Halvorsen House is the place to choose! Just a few minutes from the north entrance of Letchworth, it gave us a perfect landing place each evening. Tons of great space inside and outside for either gathering or spreading out. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck and ending our evening around the firepit. Thank you for giving us such a comfortable and clean home for our visit!'

'Erg goed hotel op doorreis naar Niagara Falls. Service van nachtportier erg vriendelijk. We kwamen later aan dan verwacht ivm aanrijding met herten die onverwachts de snelweg overstaken. Kamer was gereserveerd en kregen eerst een kop thee om bij te komen. Zeer schoon en erg uigebreid ontbijbuffet (inclusief) beschikbaar. Aanrader!'

'Our one night stay was way too short to enjoy the beautiful property. We stayed here for our visit to Letchworth State Park. The Glen Iris Inn was fully booked so we chose this as an alternative. Good call when we visited the inn while in the park we noticed most of the patrons were elderly. I had a small issue with the plumbing at 5am, Jessica and Ryan took care of it immediately. The cottage was perfect. If we ever visit this area again we will be back here but will stay longer for sure.'

'My wife and I stayed here for our 4th wedding anniversary. Our first night there it rained pretty hard all night and we found out that the roof leaked and water was dripping incessantly through the bedroom ceiling and hitting the floor. We had to put a towel down to catch the water and stop the sound. Atleast it did not rain our second night so we could get some sleep at last. 'What a great stay at this cozy little gem! The hosts are top notch! We stayed from Nov 12 - Dec 19 while waiting for our new home to be completed, they checked in on us in the cold and snowy weather to see if we needed anything, they offered to shovel, put down salt and when we contacted them that the furnace had stopped, they were there quickly to repair.The cottage is clean and cozy, and well stocked. We would highly recommend Dave and his cozy cottage!'
