Kies je hotel in Oxford County

'Our stay was wonderful. The room was spacious with a kitchenette so if we had stayed longer we could cook our own meals (we used it the full fridge for drink and snack mostly) Food on premises is a bit expensive (as to be expected for hotel extras) but it’s convenient and easy. Pool and Free spa amenities were great. Did not try their service spa treatments but enjoyed the sauna and stream rooms. Hiking trail was well maintained and view from look out point spectacularly beautiful. Staff were...

'My second time here. I love this hotel. The staff are all so nice the rooms are so clean.'

'Quaint and clean but a little dated. Very remote location. No nearby restaurants.'

'This glamping cabin was everything we hoped for and more! Cozy, romantic, and clean. The outdoor kitchen had all the essentials, the private hot tub was amazing, and watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck felt magical. We roasted marshmallows by the fire pit overlooking the water and felt totally tucked away from the world yet the grocery store and casino were just minutes away. The perfect mix of peace, fun, and luxury. Can’t wait to come back!'

'Buildings are very old but well maintained. The room was comfortable. We didn’t enjoy the continental breakfast, it didn’t have any protein, it was all carbs. The property was beautiful, but we only stayed one night and didn’t use any of the amenities.'

'Clean & comfortable'

'Beautiful place and location. Rooms clean friendly staff. Great hot tub and fire place.'

'Lovely property and a great hot tub.'

'Got put into an uncleaned room. Complained and the woman behind the frontdesk didn’t want to do anything about it. Acted like there was no other room in the hotel I could sleep in. Unfriendly and uninterested during both check-in and my complain. '

'We wanted to stay near the fairgrounds and the Admiral Peary is only a couple of miles away. As it turns out, not only was it convenient it was also a destination of its own. We hope to be able to return on a nice weekend in the summer, it was that nice a place to stay.'

'The cabin was perfect, so secluded and quiet. It was cozy and warm. It had everything we needed for a true retreat camping experience. The hosts were easy to work with and helped shuttle our things up the trek to the cabin too! I would come again'

'Overall maintenance was far below par, but had little effect on my stay. Staff interaction was confined to a perfunctory introduction, and failed to point out the thermostat (partially hidden by the door lock); first night was very cold. Generally old without being charming. C-/D+'

'Nice room.'

'Easy check-in. Very clean. Would stay here again. Only thing I missed was a coffee.'

'Everything is great about this property. Just one thing, the upstairs bathroom in the Harrison Suite has no curtain to close, only a lace cover that is see-through, so no privacy in the bathroom. Other than that issue, the inn is fantastic.'

'We live in an area where there are many homes that are over 100+ years and my wife grew up in a house built around 1900. So we are used to older facilities. This was decorated with every surface a visual piece of art. The owners were friendly, helpful, courteous and careful. The food was good and is a big part of their rep. Well deserved. There are convenient restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay.'

'When we drove up, we noticed a For Sale sign on the property. No one was present in the home, so we called the phone number which was provided inside. A woman came to show us our rooms, to give us room keys and to answer any questions. After that she left, and we did not see anyone else throughout our stay. We were the only guests at the property. I had previously received an email telling me the restaurant was being closed for the winter season. I assumed that breakfast and bar services...

'Experienced Maine for the first time and found this lovely inn in a small community. Will definitely be planning a trip back.'

'The Inn was fantastic. The ambiance was romantic and when we stayed lots of people were there for vacation week and we met some great people. It had a ski lodge vibe where you could hang out by the fire in the great room, the game room or get snacks from the front lobby. The staff were so amazing and helpful. We brought our dog and he was made to feel right at home too! Our room was perfect with the kitchenette we cooked in and even the murphy bed was comfortable! They served cake in the great...
