'The room that we had looked nothing like the picture. The bed was one foot away from the air conditioning unit. The room was smaller than indicated. We had a corner room that was at an angle, therefore we lacked proper square footage
The bathroom was very small. The toilet was right next to the sink, I bumped my arm several times. There was no soap dish in the tub/ shower had to hold the soap.
The rooms were only being cleaned every three days, you had to leave your trash outside of...

'Extremely disappointing — would never recommend
Our stay at Sugar Beach Resort was extremely disappointing. The bathroom was nasty, and the shower had visible mold. The bed was also very uncomfortable.
We specifically paid extra for a room with a view, but the front desk initially gave us a room with the view blocked by a large tree. They didn’t resolve the issue until we complained twice. Why advertise and charge for a view if you’re not going to provide it?

'Marie and Ted were fabulous hosts!! We arrived late (and they were out of the house) and they left very detailed instructions for us in their absence. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We awoke early the next morning to head out and found Ted had made the MOST delicious blueberry muffins. We took a couple of muffins and some coffee with us for our ride up to Mackinac Island. The only issue we encountered was not being able to figure out how to operate the TV in our room but it...

'Was very pleased with service given. Weekly and Susan were helpful and kind. Had issue with room being switch from 2 Queens to king when I requested disability. Went to wedding with son. But theu were kind enough to switch me to 2 queens nondisability on Labor day weekend. Gentlemen in breakfast room sweet . The company needs to do a little fixing around the room example chips in door of bathroom and iron after putting water in it for steam leaked all over. But other than that would return.'
