« We enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel. Parking in the basement was easy with lifts to all floors. The room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only grumbles would be that it was difficult getting into the bath tub to have a shower and there was no fridge in the room. »

« Vu que nous navons pas pu nous laver car il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude, cet hotel ne mérite pas ses 4 etoiles. C'est un 2 étoiles vieillot dont certaines parties sont en très mauvais état. Le manager a essayé de remedier à la situation. Mais en fait rien ne fonctionne. »

« Room was nice and overlooked Lord Street. Reception staff very accommodating, had several nice breakfasts and dinner. Bar drinks were good. No complaints. The bath/shower was a step up design and was super deep. Not sure it would work if you had disabilities. »

« Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Issues with the shower once we entered the room, no one had checked that the shower was even working before giving us the room and they had to call plumbing. A damp smell in the room too. Told the hotel was full and couldn’t move to another room and had to go shower in another room. « Very cold no heating had to ask then ask again They let us in to room early but it had not been cleaned so Covid is a bad risk as not been disaffected so would have rather left our stuff in the car until later »

« Fabulous property with very helpful staff. Ran the local Parkrun and missed breakfast time but was made some fantastic bacon sandwiches when we both returned to the guest house. Staff was very accommodating which made the visit very enjoyable. »

« I stayed at the Warwick, Southport from Friday 26th September - Monday 29th September during the British Musical Firework Championship 2025. Finding good-quality accommodation for a reasonable price during the weekend is almost impossible as establishments raise their prices as large numbers of people flock to the town for the weekend and many places selling out soon after the dates are announced. This is not my first stay, having come across The Warwick, Southport almost a year ago. »
