'We loved the way the hot tub was placed with a view on the lake and close to the inside door. We loved the amenities such as the dishwasher and fire pit. The only thing to upgrade would be the deck, which was rugged to walk on and the sliding screen doors who were hard to open and close correctly'

'Personnel très sympathique et prêt à rendre service si besoin. Très propre, très bien entretenu et bien situé. Il est aussi très joli! La chambre était spacieuse avec tout le nécessaire : frigo, serviettes en suffisance pour 2 personnes, tv, gel douche, shampoing,… Si on veut vraiment trouver quelque chose de négatif c’est peut être le wifi qui ne fonctionnait pas super bien et le sèche cheveux est aussi un peu ralenti (peut être trop vieux?). Mais ce sont vraiment deux minuscules détails....

'Pas grand chose, il est situé immédiatement après l’arrivée du bateau (le traversier), vous devrez marcher environ 10min pour aller jusqu’au (mini) centre de Tadoussac. Petit mais très beau. L’hôtel en lui même est vieillissant, c’est clairement un motel. Les murs, portes, fenêtres ont vecu et ça se voit. La nuit nous avions un rongeur qui se déplaçait dans une cloison de la chambre. 'This was better than expected. The motel/hotel is older but was clean and had the basics. Minor gripes are there was no showerhead on the shower, beds were hard, and our room (33) had a long set of stairs to access. The restaurant was very nice; we had supper and breakfast there; good food and reasonable. The woman at reception was kind off-ish and had to understand. 'No front desk. Check in and check out were confusing. We were required to use an i-pad to check in and create our own key card (no human contact). We were assured that we could request translation of steps/ instructions provided on i-pad from French to English, which we did using the ipad app. This helped a little. But key steps, instructions and rules were still in French. When we checked out the information provided online was in Spanish? We liked the layout of unit but thought...

'Nothing fancy, but exactly what one needs for (in our case) a one night stay: clean, spacious and a comfortable bed. There are several units and upon arrival it's indicated which apartment is meant for you. Ample parking space next to the unit. Wifi worked fine. Decor is somewhat outdated, but all's clean and in one piece. Condiments are availabnle as well. If you go here for the whale watching from the quay in Baie Sainte Catherine, this is less than a 2 minutes drive away.'
