'My husband and I stayed here for four days in April 2024 and we really enjoyed just sitting on the patio and swimming in the pool. Property is about 10 minutes from Dominical and is road which is not paved (and up a hill). Can’t imagine a car without 4x4 would work, we rented a Hyundai toucan and it worked fine. Property manager was easy to communicate with through WhatsApp.'

'The owners ar Cabinas Pura Vida are extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. They let us park our car while visiting Corcovado National Park overnight and helped us get a free taxi to catch our boot. The rooms are simple, but not expensive. They have a nice common area and a fridge for guests to use. The breakfast was good and it was not problem to serve it an hour earlier than their usual time because we had to catch our boot. '
