'If you like beds similar to torture racks , hallway carpeting seams corrected with duct tape, staff unwilling to do more than just show up, no housekeeping during your stay and a price that doesn’t match the quality of the site, power outages, pool closings and an unwillingness of the site to help or compensate/make up for these shortcomings / problems then this place is for you. Many of the rooms while walking around the facility appeared remodeled but not the ones set aside for Expedia or...

'Perfecte lijstje, mooie ruime kamer met een goed bed, een mooi uitzicht en prima koffie. Lekker balkon als ik een minpuntje zou bedenken mis ik een klein tafeltje op het balkon. '

'Om er voor 1 nacht te verblijven is het prima, maar zou hier zeker niet langer willen verblijven. Op de kamer waar we zaten, veel schimmel aan het plafond en niet goed schoon. In het gehele hotel veel vocht beestjes aanwezig. Dit kan misschien komen omdat ze overstroming hadden gehad door orkaan debby.'

'The hotel has been recently renovated and everything, including the elevator doors were sparkling clean. Although the workout room needed service(treadmill broken), the hotel is 5 minutes from the trailhead of Black River Trail for walking/jogging. The breakfast was a fail, as the waffle dispenser was broken and there were no healthy cereal options.'

'Dede was welcoming, the lighthouse room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was large. The breakfast was unexpected (I didn’t recall reading that) and fantastic. The rooms are on the second floor so you do have to haul luggage up stairs. Also, Expedia had no mention of air conditioning so I called the facility, and they do indeed have AC! The only thing I would add are more outlets by the bed. I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area again.'

'I never like to put down a place that's "trying". This location is on the water and very close to all activities (downtown) so that's a plus. The office was very responsive to needs/problems ... and friendly. Price was a bit high to us, but maybe not for this location. The unit (attached cabin) was NOT spectacular. Lots could be improved. If you have the money ... stay elsewhere. If not, this is a good base for seaway cruises, etc.'
