« I do NOT recommend staying at Haven Hitch. I rented it for 2 months and found multiple problems beginning on day 1, that have continued. The most serious issue was the pest infestation. During my stay I dealt with constant bugs inside the apartment, including flies, gnats, spiders, beetles, roaches, moths, lacewings, June bugs, and multiple wasps flying flying inside the unit, including one that flew directly in front of my face while I was sitting in the bed. « Beautiful property. House was very stocked with various items for use. Pond was awesome. Kids loved playing and kayaking in it. Only disappointment was that the temperature in the upstairs bedroom was too warm for our comfort. But, it was a hot weekend when we we're there. Also, not use to well water and it had a very strong odor. But, bottled drinking water was supplied. Wonderful place for a secluded getaway for our large family from 1 to 75 years of age. »
