Kies je hotel in Gilmer County

'Clean but run-down. Hasn’t been updated in a very long time. Comfortable bed, nice pillows. Don’t expect the Ritz and you won’t be disappointed. Safe and clean. There’s a law enforcement training facility nearby so lots of deputies and officers here, very safe. The continental breakfast was lacking. Maybe when they update the rooms they can get a toaster or one of those waffle makers. But if you have business in Glenville it’s better than staying at the next closest place 30 miles away.'

'I can't say enough good things about this property and the host. It's beautiful and very quiet here. I stayed twelve days and had the most peaceful vacation I've had in years. The house was spotless, and everything you could possibly need has been provided. Ken, the host, is very responsive and very nice. It's secluded, but close enough to town if you need supplies or restaurants. I would definitely love to come back here and stay again.'

'Very clean and well kept. Easy communication. Nice fire pit. Well maintained gravel.'

'Late night check in was wonderful. extra roll away with plenty of room was great. '

'This home was a blessing to us as we visited family in the area. The interior was spotless, but the porches could have used some attention. Pay attention to the host instructions accessing the drive from the highway. My son tried to make the hairpin turn and found he had to backup on the highway to do it. Not a good spot to be in. It was also difficult exiting the drive as your vision of traffic is limited due to the steepness of the driveway. Breakfast is always important to our family. All 8...

'AMAZING! It was nice to unplug and be totally off the grid for the weekend. The views were amazing and it so peaceful and relaxing. I stayed for my family reunion in Rosedale and will def be back again. I met the owner on a walk, and he was so nice. Much more spacious than being cramped up in a hotel room. The weather was perfect. We played horseshoes and made s’mores by the fire. 1010 recommend! '

'Need better pest control in the house.'

'The cabin was very clean, organized, and peaceful. The tub was cracked and the down spout had been knocked on the rear of the red cabin. There was random pieces of garbage around the cabin and in the woods. The pond is not close to the cabins (1/2 mile) down hill and the road and trails to it were not maintained. In short, it is a very peaceful getaway, but the pictures make the cabins and pond appear relatively close and accessible and they are not. The cabins are up kept and nice, but the...

'Our stay at the Persimmon Cabin on Faith Mountain was amazing! From the attentive hospitality by Mark and Patti to the exceptional hiking experience throughout the property. The cabin also offers convenient day trips to nearby communities and state parks. Faith Mountain will be kept on our radar for every return trip to wild and wonderful West Virginia!!'
