'Spacious cabin, parking outside the door, full-sized fridge, great split-level air conditioner. Soap and Shampoo are dispensed from bottles. The plastic shower curtain is annoying, but the hot shower with good pressure was fantastic'

'The house is very comfortable and easy to stay at with lots of thoughtful touches. It was lovely and clean and a great kitchen. We did not have kids but noticed the cot, high chair, and kids books/activities. The supermarket and post office are very close and convenient. National Park is nearby but we did not go as busy with family. On previous visits to Athelstone we have enjoyed hiking in the park and saw koalas.'

'On first sight, the room looked of 5 star quality, with good amenities in the room, bathroom and storage area. However, the carpet is in very serious need of a good deep clean and was rather unsavoury to both look at and walk on. '

'Very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in 2 different rooms - one was a bit tired and had a safety lock broken (so I requested a room change) the other one more modern. Staff was very helpful in accomodating the room change. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise from outside (hotel is an an area with a lot of nightlife around). Breakfast food was adequate. Fresh fruits, cereal, yoghurt and good hot buffet but limited pastry selection. Ambiance of bar and breakfast area lackluster.'

'Parking was easy on a weekend. Jethro and Aurora were friendly and welcoming although Aurora thought my room was a quiet one. I was disappointed with my room. It was not overlooking the river as I expected and was noisy with hoon traffic, 4 ambulances in 2 night stay, barking dog, and thuds from the room next door. '
