'For reference, I’m a Hilton Gold Member and my opinion of this independent hotel (closest to the Appomattox Surrender Grounds National Park) is that it’s very much on par with a Hampton Inn as far as rooms, decor, amenities and pricing. (But not the cookies) This is my fourth stay here at this hotel and I promise you will not be disappointed.'

'This is such a unique and beautiful property! You will enjoy the majestic views with your morning coffee.! The sunsets are spectacular! Close to Lynchburg, Bedford, historic sites in Appomattox and lots of great hikes! Perfect for an event or wedding as well! We just stayed for graduation weekend but now we know of a beautiful event location for the future! Beds are so comfortable! Kitchen well equipped! Host is so responsive and kind! 10/10 recommend!'
