It’s situated on a beautiful peace of land where you can’t help but feel at peace. « We were looking for a place that isn't too far from everything and can accommodate my family of 6. This house worked out well for us, I just wish we could have taken advantage of all the amenities. We planned to use the fire pit the last day but a storm rolled in and rained all night. We came as the leaves were changing and it was beautiful. The only point if caution I would say is that the address is in Monroe, va it is actually about 20 from Monroe down winding roads. It wasn't an issue...

« This was a very disappointing stay. The description did not disclose that there were several people living in the basement. There was no lock from inside kitchen to basement, so no way to assure those people didn't enter our space. The back yard was "off limits" as were several cupboards in the home. It appeared as though people who were in the house quickly moved their stuff into the basement prior to our arrival, with a very shoddy cleaning job. Some lights and receptacles didn't have covers. ...

« We had a wonderful weekend visiting our son for his birthday. The home is absolutely beautiful! Loved all the original wood floors and the quaint front porch. Although we didn’t use them, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. I especially appreciated that an appropriate amount of towels and washcloths were provided. So many other places we have stayed have literally provided one washcloth and towel for a stay of several nights. Very grateful that you all provided for our needs! Will...

« Beautiful BRAND NEW lil cabin. Smelling fresh outdoors as good as it smells fresh and inviting inside. Definitely enough room for 2 adults and a couple or few kids. Not far from things, but definitely not a place to just run out for milk or butter, so get everything you need on your grocery trip. There is 100% privacy from anyone and the world back in the woods... with the cutest back yard and the deere grazing unbothered while you sip your coffee. It was PEACE. »

« We really enjoyed our stay here! Beds were clean and comfortable and the pillows were as well. Rooms were clean, bathrooms seemed clean. Kitchen was well stocked, great for families. TVs were great. Our kids really enjoyed the game room with the foosball table. We would definitely be happy to stay here again! »
