Gnarnia - Closest to Mt. Bachelor! 5BR/3.5BA, Jacuzzi

Brand New 5 Bedroom Home! Located within the Deschutes National Forest, these are the closest homes to Mt. Bachelor and just 5 minutes to Town. Hot Tub and Brand New Everything. Steps to some of the best hiking and biking trails in Bend.
The Deschutes River Trailhead is only a few steps from the back door (50 yards), and Phil's trail and Rimrock Trailhead (to name a few) are very close by.
We are in walking distance to the Seventh Mountain Resort and 1/2 mile to Widgi Creek Golf Course!
The space
Our house is a brand new attached home (only attached on one wall, with firewall between, and very quiet.) It is located in a wonderful subdivision called Milepost 1, which are the closest residential units to Mt. Bachelor, yet we are still less than 5 minutes to town! Since we are so close to Bachelor, you can easily be the first to the slopes and miss all the traffic getting out of town! One turn onto the road to Bachelor and you are there!
Appointed with all new luxury furnishings, the space is sure to rank highly on anyone's "best places I've stayed" list. With a large open great room/kitchen, the space screams for social get togethers with friends and family! Xbox and Super Nintendo (with lots of games) in the house to keep the kids (or adults) happy!
6-7 person hot tub out on the back patio, complete with a fire pit and adirondacks makes the back patio the ultimate place to relax in the afternoon/evening. Our backyard is shaded in the afternoon, which is perfect in the hot Bend afternoons!
Please note we are in a quiet neighborhood and we have the utmost respect for our neighbors. Loud and rowdy groups will not be tolerated. Thank you for your understanding.
Please also note that there is parking for 3 vehicles (not oversized) on our property. There is no street parking. Please do not plan on bringing large, oversized or more than 3 vehicles as we will be fined and will be passing those fines along to our guests.
Dogs are okay with a $75 pet fee. Please notify us if you are bringing a dog.
We are walking distance from the Seventh Mountain Resort, with a bar/restaurant and numerous facilities open to the public: Ice skating in the winter, river rafting and horseback riding in the spring/summer/fall. All of those can be booked through their website. They also have a disc golf course you can use, as well as a mini kids-dirt track for bikes. Widgi Creek Golf Course is also very close by and has extremely reasonable rates for a great course!
2 master suites (1 upstairs, 1 down) each have King beds. There are 2 further bedrooms with queen beds upstairs that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Lastly, there is a den/office downstairs with bunk beds. Additionally, there is an air mattress that guests are free to deploy anywhere. Blackout shades in every room, so you can sleep in, or sleep it off!
We do have RING cameras that monitor the outside of the house. There are no cameras inside of the home.

Perfect for our family getaway!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The house location is convenient for skiing at Mt. Bachelor and exploring Bend. The house is beautiful, spacious and well maintained. The rooms are large and the beds are super comfy. The host was responsive and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Fabulous Place, Wonderful Time

Loved staying at this home! It provided for everything we needed. The overall layout worked great down to the comfy big sofa. The hot tub topped off our stay and was perfect after a long day on the mountain.

Very nice house, well stocked kitchen. Very dirty hot tub and poor hot water heater. Refrigerator couldn’t be fixed before our stay but had a secondary fridge in garage that accommodated our needs- garage door was a ways from kitchen though. Owners were nice and responded quickly

Perfect House for Family

Our family had the best time and Gnarnia was perfect for all 8 of us and our dogs. The house was WELL stocked and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the nearby trails for walking the dogs, the neighbors were very nice and we really enjoyed the hot tub for after snow activities. 5 out of 5 stars!

Fantastic rental

The rental was fabulous. It was one of the best stocked and organized rentals I ever stayed at. The place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too. Only about a 10 minute drive from the Old Mill District and downtown. Biking and hiking trails right out the front of the house. We will definitely be coming back to stay.

Great Place to Stay! Exactly as Described.

We had a group of 8 friends stay at the Gnarnia house for my wife's 30th birthday. It was a great space for all of us, and exactly matched the photos and listings. It's in a quiet little vacation community. About a 10 minute drive into town, which was excellent. The hosts were very communicative and left written instructions about how to use everything, which was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

EPIC

Not only did we have an epic weekend of skiing Mt. Bachelor, our stay at Gnarnia was as well. This house is roughly 20 min from the mountain, clean, just as pictured and most impressive--very well stocked and not with cheap goods! Having stayed in many VRBO type places, it's always frustrating when kitchen utensils are of poor quality or the towels don't actually dry you off. The little things matter, and they've nailed it. Also worth mentioning, all the beds are comfortable! It's obvious the owners / managers care about the time you spend in their home! We will be back for our next Bachelor Ski Weekend!!

Amazing access to trails!

We loved our stay at Gnarnia! House is open, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen is top notch - well stocked with quality appliances, utensils, pots, pans etc. Beds were super comfortable (might be the most comfortable beds we've experienced at a rental!). Our 5 year old especially enjoyed some toys/books that she discoverd in the bunk room. What we loved most was the location and access to trails and Bachelor. We could start the day with a lovely walk on the river trail with our pup, do a quick drive to Bachelor to ski/snowboard in the morning and enjoy a mtn bike ride in the late afternoon straight from the house. What else could you ask for!

This home was the absolute best we could have gotten in Bend! In between Mt. Bachelor and downtown Bend, it was the perfect location and convenient to everything. Yes, Yes and More Yes!

We had a blast! The manager/owner was incredibly responsive and flexible. The location is perfectly located close to town and Mt. Bachelor. Now for the good stuff!--There are so many small things that add value. There was a kitchen fully stocked of staple items. (salt, pepper, most seasonings, paper towels, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, conditioner and more!) It was nice to not invest $60 in seasonings. They have a Gnarwall that highlights the top five hikes, restaurants, summer activities and winter activities. I could go on with the level of detail they provide in this property. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Place !

We had a wonderful stay at this house with our family. The house is very spacious, has a great layout and is very clean. The kitchen is very well appointed and had everything we needed for cooking for our group. The location is perfect - very close to Mt. Bachelor for skiing, an easy walk to great hiking trails and only a few min into Bend for shopping. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Bend. The host was also very responsive and great to work with.

This is a very well built spacious vacation house. It really has everything. The ice rank less than half mile away remained open with a large fire pits for the adults! We went nordic skiing 10 minutes away at meissner. Perfect. Hosts are incredibly responsive.

Great house in perfect location

The house was perfect for us and another family. Location is amazing, walk to Deschutes River trail, 10-15 min to all the great restaurants and parks in Bend and easy access to Mt. Bachelor and lakes. The house is spacious and comfortable and stocked with everything you need. Owner was easy to communicate with, very responsive and helpful with things to do in the area. Loved our stay and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Place

Came to Bend for my 40th birthday and this property delivered. Great quiet location and the back patio area delivers hours of sunshine! The house is spacious with plenty of room for guests. My kids were entertained during our stay and we would definitely come back
