Hôtel près de Belsay Hall (Newcastle-upon-Tyne)

« Correct, sans plus. Porte de la salle de bain qui ne ferme pas car elle a été mal réparée… »

« I was very pleased to be there. It was very clean, professionnal, …et and all the rest. I Will come back when possible »

« The staff were very friendly and the food was great »

« Confortable mais piscine n'était pas inclus dans la chambre et c'est très petit. Le savon etc est jeté tout les jours et le dernier jour non remplacé. Soucis avec le bouchon d'évier mais c'était rectifié très rapidement. »

« Excellent staff very kind and hospitable and very nice pub food and breakfast. LargeTV screen to watch the World Cup and BBC I player to catch up on the highlights, all good. »

« Very good place to be »

« L’hôtel est situé dans un magnifique emplacement au bord de la rivière Tyne. Extérieurs et intérieur, spacieux, cosy »

« Room clean and beautifully decorated. Warm, lovely hot shower, large fluffy towels. Staff friendly and helpful. Well positioned in the town and good parking. »

« I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W. »

« Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. »

« Functional and comfortable hotel, very close to the airport. They propose an early continental breakfast for early departures. »

« Great place and pleasant staff. Would and will stay again. »

« While this hotel is a little dated, it still has charm and some wonderfully warm and welcoming personnel. The quality and range of ingredients in the breakfast could be improved (especially the coffee) but the view in the breakfast room makes up for that. »
