'The property is a fully equipped bungalow style home on a big piece of land. The only noise is the animals flying, crawling or walking around. So quite. The single track can be a challenge with oncoming traffic and the lack of indication that someone is approaching. 'We had a great time at this fabulous cottage. Perfectly situated near, but not in, the centre of Comrie and ideally a 1 minute walk to the best restaurant The Deil’s Kitchen. Beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped with every extra you could possibly need. Comfortable, warm, plenty of room and a really great kitchen. 'Lots of good things to say about this place. The history of it being a stable - charming. The smell of lavender planted near the entrance - charming. 'Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips.'
