Very cozy
We had a wonderful time at the cabin for our anniversary. The location wasn't quite as remote as I anticipated but still very quiet and beautiful. We especially liked all the deer walking around. And of course the hot tub!

Mt Rainier Hiking
My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the Garage. It does look like a garage from the outside but inside it is very well laid out and nice. Very quiet and peaceful. Deer come right up to the garage to say hi and they like apples. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking.

Great amenities, so close to Rainier!
We loved staying at 'The Garage'! You can tell that the owners truly want to make it a relaxing experience for the guests. Hot tub is a great addition (and now wife is looking to add one to our home). Once the sauna is completed, I'm sure that'll be a draw as well! The interior of the home is surprisingly updated and modern. Loved the decor, the amenities, the cleanliness. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Awesome Rainier Cabin for Two!
Lovely cabin with all the comforts you could hope for after long days of hiking the mountain. The hot tub was especially welcome and we used it every day! No soap other than hand soap, so bring your own body wash. We had to find an overpriced bar of soap at the local market. Other than that, as long as you bring your own food, you will want for nothing! Very well equipped, comfortable, and clean. Which is no small feat to maintain in the middle of the woods!

Great place to relax
The Garage was a great place to chill! The property was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was glorious. The bed is so comfy we didn't want to get up. The couch is also very comfortable for relaxing and watching Netflix! Saw 5 deer while we there. Copper Creek Inn was delicious for breakfast, just as recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cabin minutes from mt. Rainier
This is one of those places that's more beautiful in person than in photos. The cabin was well appointed and well thought out. It was comfortable and cozy and provides little details such as apple cider, tea, and coffee, that really brings the stay to the next level. We really appreciated the binder of information, as well as the hot tub to soak our tired bones in at the end of the day. I also can't express my gratitude enough for the hosts being gracious enough to let us use their hiking polls, ESPECIALLY because I have a bad knee. Please, if you are thinking of visiting My. Rainier, give The Garage a go. I don't think you will be disappointed!

Perfect spot during a perfect week
In August, 2021, we drove up to Paradise from Seattle to hike the Skyline Trail Loop and drove home immediately after. It was clear we needed a bigger block of time to hike more of the mountain's trails. Within a couple weeks we found The Garage on Vrbo and booked it for 5 nights nearly a year ahead. It was such a good decision, both because of the quality of the cabin and the hosts, and because the location made our time so convenient to the park and relaxing after hiking. Thanks Tye and Erika!

Minutes from the park entrance and easy to find. Very clean and comfortable after a long day of hiking in the park. Hot tub and fire pit. Kitchen spotless and had all we needed to make breakfast and dinner each day. Grill was clean and worked well. Treking poles provided. I would highly recommend!

A Great Place to Relax
Wow! “The Garage” is a fabulous place to stay. It is clean and well stocked. The interior is beautiful. The comfortable bed and hot tub are clutch after long days of hiking. It is also a close drive to the national park and great restaurants. My wife and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property for a couples getaway. I liked having a fully stocked kitchen avreything you could need. Only complaint is no pitcher if you want to make frozen juice. The house is imacilate very clean. They have Netflix and a few other streaming services on top of regular cable. There a hit tub . Right on the little creek/river. Fire pit with char right in front of the creek/River. You get a code to get access to property so lockout for that email . Had awesome wi Fi too I would stay again .

We absolutely loved it here! The cabin is in a nice quiet place so we could have a place to relax and recharge. This is our first getaway since having a baby last year, so it was really nice to be able to reconnect in such a beautiful place. Very Happily Surprised
What a nice retreat. Two priorities for us is cleanliness and coziness. This cabin is well thought out, and easy to adapt to. The little things were the ledges everywhere to avoid cluttering table tops, and a wood burner larger enough to heat the whole place (and wood to boot). The Boss and I stay in a lot of these places, and if I'd return, that would be my highest recommendation. Yes, we would return!

Secluded getaway
This is a cute, rustic refurbished garage on a secluded property not far from the main gates of Mount Rainier. It is very clean and had everything we needed. Internet was spotty, but that's to be expected in this location. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus! Overall, we really enjoyed our getaway and will be back.

Relaxing and quiet
This is exactly what I was looking for when searching for a retreat for my 30th birthday. We felt at home right away. The living room is beautiful and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and then relaxing on the couch watching Netflix. We were even able to stream the very first home game of the Kraken by casting my ESPN to the Apple TV. On our last full day there, we lost power at about 3pm. We couldn’t go exploring because I had gotten a big screw in my tire the day before so we decided to stay in. The power never came back on. My only suggestion is investing in some battery powered lanterns or anything that emits more light than the LED candles and the old flashlight. Luckily, I found my high powered tactical flashlight in my purse, and it lit up the whole kitchen so I could get the dishes washed with the last hot water remaining in the tank. In the morning as we were getting ready to leave, I cleaned the best I could by flashlight as the cabin doesn’t have much natural light on a gloomy day. I firmly believe in leaving a place better than you found it, and I was determined to do so to the best of my ability. Overall, including the last 16 hours being without power, we really enjoyed our stay and we will be booking there again. Tye and Erika are spectacular hosts with a fantastic property.

This being our first time using a rental it exceeded our expectations. Check in was easy with lock box. Directions on expectations of us and how to use tv was easy to follow. It was very homey. The neighborhood was quiet. They had all the amenities to cook or make coffee/cocoa. A little pond out back so we sat out and listened to the birds. Definitely a return trip will be done. Cozy, comfortable & quiet get-away
We enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to be very warm and comfortable. Kitchen fairly well equipped, lacking a few items e.g., foil, plastic wrap, large frying pan... but hey, it's a cabin and we made do. The Wi-Fi was strong enough for both of us to work remotely with just a few interruptions. Overall a very nice stay. Very quiet and relaxing and loved seeing the visiting deer!

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. When we checked in with you, we wish you would have mentioned that you were not able to find the large frying pan because we do have one. It’s possible that a previous guest put it away in a different location from the rest. I’m sorry that you were disappointed that there was no Saran Wrap or foil - we don’t provide these items (nor do we claim to) as a way to avoid unnecessary waste. Instead we do provide some reusable containers with lids. Best! Tye & Erika

So relaxing and beautiful
We went for our 3 year anniversary, he actually proposed 3 weeks before our arrival so since Mt. Rainier was open still we had my cousin come up durung the day on Saturday and take our engagement photos! The cabin was so accommodating and had everything we could need! Litterly just bring your food! The hot tub was warm and perfect and the wold stove kept us nice and tosty!! We can't wait to return for another weekend away. Best Kitchen Ever!
The interior of this property is so gorgeous, it's obvious to see that this is a second home. The kitchen is gorgeous and has everything you might need. There are a lot of signs telling you which towels to use for which! I feel bad for the owners that they had their towels ruined so many times that they have to put up so many signs. We're rule followers though so it was no big deal. Hot tub was lovely, we saw deer wandering through. Neighbors are pretty close but they were either not there, or really quiet. WI-FI was excellent and we were "working from home" and our coworkers only knew we were in the woods because we told them. We left our dog home this time, and would come again but might not because we feel bad leaving him home.

Absolutely amazing stay. We happened to come at a time with some unexpected weather/landslides so we weren’t able to really do anything in the area. Tye and Erica have been more than helpful!
