❄️ WINTER & SNOW INFO
- Arnold gets real Sierra snow in winter. Before you leave, check Caltrans QuickMap or call 1-800-427-ROAD (7623) for Highway 4 conditions. Highway 4 can close during heavy storms.
- Carry chains, even with 4WD or snow tires, and practice putting them on before you need them.
- Fill your tank, and pack water, blankets, and a flashlight.
- Driveway: Paved with a slight incline. Chains are still recommended when snow is in the forecast.
- Bear Valley skiing and snowmobiling are 22 miles away.
- Come home to the hot tub, indoor fireplace, and Solo Stove fire pit.

🌲 BLUE LAKE SPRINGS COMMUNITY
The neighborhood has 2 private lakes, a rec center with a pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a restaurant, and more. Most summer amenities run Memorial Day to Labor Day, and guest fees apply. Fly-in Acres Lake is a short scenic walk from the cabin, and with no motorboats it's calm and great for swimming. A golf course is also in the community (green fees apply).
