'The rooms are rustic. Non coated floors give a dusty feeling, our feet and socks were very dirty walking on it. Batroom was great but had unfinished masonned pilar, making it feel unclean. The location was ideal - easily walkable from the train station and the cruise port shuttle as well as the city centre and many shops/ restaurants. The room was clean and quiet with an amazing breakfast spread. Federica was lovely and very helpful! 'This was an unusual property/experience. The main door is located on a busy street in a sketchy area. The apartment is on the 3rd floor (2nd floor for Europeans). As there is no on-site staff, pre-check-in is handled through email, including passport submittal, etc. We arrived on Saturday morning in time to return a rental car before they closed at noon. 'Staying here was an incredible experience! Loris and Ambra are perfect hosts. Loris helped me arrange transportation to and from the hotel - and he carried all of our bags to and from the hotel! Ambra kept us in good food and coffee. We didn't meet Rita, but we ate her delicious cakes. Everyone was so friendly and attentive to our needs! I would give them a higher rating if I could!
