'We loved the Dunlin! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are lovely. We rode bikes around the property and had an excellent time! The afternoon tea was a bit overpriced for what was served, but we still enjoyed it. I would like to mention that the room rate we chose made reference to a soaking tub and separate shower and this was not the case; we only had a shower. It was a great shower! But just know that the descriptions here are not always accurate and we were a bit disappointed.'

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice.
We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them.
Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'This place was such a find. It’s tucked away on the Marshland where you can see dolphins swimming right from your window! The staff was absolutely phenomenal, from housekeeping to the front desk individuals who greet you at the door. Rooms were clean and beautiful with nice fireplaces and large decks. I can’t say enough good things about this location, it’s staff, and my experience there. Highly recommend.'
