'The door was not locked when we arrived. There was no instruction how to lock the door when you go for a walk. It would have been better if the cabin was not so close to the main drag. '

'Great for what we needed in a stay. The location was perfect, just over 5 minutes from Woodward Tahoe. Quiet neighborhood. Beds comfy. Kitchen adequate for the minimal amount of cooking we did. The General Store just up the street is worth stopping in. Would stay again.'

The house was perfect for our family to get ready for the wedding and just to hang out and enjoy our time together. 'We enjoyed our stay at the Capone Getaway. This 5 bedroom/3 bathroom house plus a loft provided plenty of space for our family gathering. The kitchen is filled with everything we needed plus some. The location was perfect for us in Soda Springs. A few drawbacks were: (1) The cabin entry was very icy so we had to remove and de-ice the iced over rubber mats before our family arrived so no one would slip getting into the cabin; (2) Some of the beds were too soft and pillows should be...

'What a wonderful retreat. We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay. We had 5 adults with plenty of room to spare.'

'This cabin and host was remarkable. We originally had plans to site see in Lake Tahoe, and other places but found ourselves repeatedly going back to the cabin to just hang and play games. Had a campfire, played ball with the dog, and hung out with cat. Great time. Scott accommodated everything we requested lickety split. The cabin layout was awesome. Will stay again.'

'My family had a wonderful winter stay at the Serene Lakes cabin. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and relax, and it is just 10 minutes to Sugar Bowl resort where we spent most of our time skiing. The kids also loved playing in the snow and walking to the frozen lake across the street. It snowed A LOT, but the driveway was always cleared in the morning with enough time for us to get the first lift! thanks for a great stay.'
