Capsulehotels in Akumal

'Akumal Natura was fine, but not great. Our min issue was mosquitos -- there are plenty of them, which didn't allow us to enjoy the outdoors that much. The rooms were okay but slightly dirty from the natural rooftop (straw and clay mix, I guess), some tree discard would go through. As for the cenotes, the deeper one was great - really pristine and peaceful; the shallow one was not very appealing due to sand and mud. The food was good but limited in options. The staff was very friendly, answered...

'Exceptional view, beach access, swimming pool, nearby shops, cafes, restaurants. '

'Todo excelente!'

'David was a great host. The private cenote is very nice and relaxing. The jungle cabin is very basic if that is what you are looking for, no option for cooking. We enjoyed being able to unplug for the night and listen to the monkeys and birds from the nearby sanctuary. '

'The view is simply amazing! The neighborhood around the condo is calm and walkable with a few good restaurants within a short stroll. We loved it!'

'Great getaway...beautiful grounds. Unfortunately there was a lot of sea moss at the beach...so a bit difficult to navigate through the waters; however, there was another beach within 5 minutes walking distance. The staff was great!!! I give it a 10/10. One thing I would recommend is renting a car as transportation was expensive.'

'i want to preface this with the knowledge that we were at the resort during low season so some things were scaled down. the grounds are beautiful and the landscaping is well kept. lots of animals/birds to see. staff were mostly decent but only a few were above average. buffet food was very repetitive in all the hotels as we made our way around trying to find the best option. (more on this later) the ala cart's we booked were mediocre at best. the carts to take you around are plentiful and always...

'Michaela’s house is absolutely wonderfull, the appartement has everything you need, the snorkeling and supping is perfect, just in front of the house. The pool is nice for the kids and the complimentary reef shoes, snorkeling gear, beach toys for the kids etc is reallifesoap comforting. On top of that: Nice to have your house cleaned every day. Only critical point I can think of is the price of the house: as we were in low season in early May, the value for money was perfect, but in high season...

'Fantastic views, clean, quaint, good location on Half Moon Bay. I needed good internet to work while I was here, and it was spotty most of the time, which led to frustration. Great place to get away though!'

'Not outstanding, just a fair place to stay. A 2 bed 2 bath condo is about the same price as this one bed, one bath suite after all the fees and taxes are added to the final cost. Unable to negotiate price per night with owner. Bed very comfortable, toilet needs fixed, maid service was excellent, kitchen offered the bare minimum utensils for making meals. Plan to eat out because of this. Refrigerator makes constant noise. Coffee pot had to be “programmed “ in order to brew. Confusing to us so we...
