Abbaye de Dryburgh

It's a nice place less popular than Melrose Abbey but also very beautiful. I didn't have perfect conditions but I did my best to give some idea about this place. You need to buy a ticket to get inside and there is no access early in the morning or late evening.

A beautiful location to walk about, and at only 6 pounds entry fee totally worth it. They have a pricy hotel on the grounds should you want to stay in the area and see the Abbey, hike about a bit and see the surrounding countryside and towns.
Dryburgh Abbey, perhaps the most beautiful of all the Scottish border abbeys built on the banks of the river Tweed and home to the graves of one of Scotland's most influential romantic writers Sir Walter Scott, and Field Marshal Douglas Haig, Commander-in-Chief of the British forces in France for much of WWI.

L'hĂ©bergement est proche d'un arrĂȘt de bus deservi par plusieurs lignes menant directement au centre ville d'Edimbourg. Les hĂŽtes sont trĂšs gentil Ă©galement. La chambre Ă©tait petite mais on pouvait circuler dans celle-ci. NĂ©anmoins, l'isolation est inexistante et ceux mĂȘme dans le nouveau bĂątiment. (On entend tous les bruits ou mĂȘme les voisins qui peuvent ronfler)

It's a beautiful place in Scotland. Picture was taken in the middle of the day but clods were nice, no harsh light and remember that this is ticketed area and there is no access at summer golden hours. Worth visiting, you can also capture some architecture details there.
