Auberges à Lyme Regis

« Generally very good. Kept awake by sluice/fall of water outside window! The outside of the inn looked shabby which was not inviting and didnt match the quality of the inside. »

« It was a lovely looking room, although the blind was broken. The staff were very friendly however I was not given the code to leave via the gate outside of opening hours (it was not on the key ring as it apparently should have been) and spent the morning stuck and unable to leave. Then breakfast (which was supposed to run from 9 until 11) was not available because the staff were locked outside and no-one had turned up with a key. I had to give up and go elsewhere for breakfast, at my expense....

« We had a lovely time in this characterful and homely house. The only thing to be prepared for is the noise from the road which is intrusive at night. Maybe better in the winter when windows are closed »

« Homestead was clean tidy and comfortable, and was well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Definitely recommend. A very short walk into Lyme Regis with all its independent shops, cafes etc. The Town Mill and Lyme Regis Museum are well worth visiting. One thing to note, the parking at Homestead is tight as is mentioned in the description so take care. »
