« We stopped at the Pine Marten for 2 nights. The hotel is in a very convenient spot and was well located for us. Our room was fine - clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities necessary. Check in and check out was easy. We had a ground floor room with level access. The staff at the hotel and associated pub were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and they were very keen to make sure that my food allergies were catered for. A good hotel 👍 »

« Lovely location, good food and good service from all the staff but disappointing niggles tainted the stay. No hot water on arrival after a long drive and day’s walking, little heat from the radiator, broken handle on the shower unit and noticeably loose flooring in the bathroom. The hot water was resolved before bedtime and the manager did all he could however far from ideal. This said if the issues are addressed it is a nice place to stay. »

« Jenni and Mark are excellent hosts! Accommodations we're fantastic there were real American size king size beds in the rooms not the usual Scottish/ Irish little tiny king beds. The bathrooms were very modern the room was spacious the breakfast was fabulous they pretty much cook you anything you want from a full Scottish breakfast with eggs and ham and sausage and haggis to all kinds of pastries and cold cereals.
