« Charming comfortable house with good views. Good mattresses, very clean everywhere. Lorraine, who looks after the house couldn’t have been kinder. 2 minute walk from the harbour which is wonderful. Lovely shops with sociable staff (Moore’s and the newsagents very handy for a range of fruit, veg etc etc). Only downsides for us (with 92 year old mum) was that stairs to lower ground floor are steep and narrow. Also we had trouble regulating the hi tech radiators, to reduce the temperature. This...

« A perfect property for two persons wanting to relax in a peaceful environment with plenty of local walking options, and a great view of the river from the breakfast area and outdoor terrace. You can waste hours just sitting and watching the ebb and flow of the tide! Great food at the local pub which is about 30 seconds walk away! »

« We had a wonderful week in Myrtle Cottage. Maurice and Barbara were great hosts. Gave us some good local advice on places to go. They were very friendly and hospitable. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring the Lizard Peninsula. We would highly recommend and would love to return. »

Les propriétaires sont juste à côté et très discrets. La maison est bien équipée et très confortable. A pied on peut accéder à des balades magnifiques , et la mer n’est pas loin en voiture. « A beautiful little cottage, which was really well equipped, we had everything we could need, especially as the weather wasn’t kind ! A lovely hamper to greet us with homemade DELICIOUS jam; and even treats for our dogs… Lesley and James are close by should you need anything & they even helped us out with a pot of sugar that we’d forgotten… Polperro is a MUST visit nearby, beautiful little fishing village with some lovely shops and restaurants…. Bodmin prison also worth a visit our friends...

« Loved all the art! The kitchen was just like being at home. Lovely sunroom and courtyard area. The bed was super comfy and the claw foot bath/shower was novel. The cottage is in a great position for seafood restaurants and walks along the coast. »

« As travelers from Australia, we decided on a self contained old worker's cottage as a change from the ordinary motels. We were not disappointed. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. Whether summer holidaying or like us, travelling about Cornwall, the house is central to beaches, shops, transport and restaurants and tourist spots. »

« The house has a view of the River Fowey from the living room and the MBR! The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with COMFORTABLE couches and beds. We slept like babies here! It is at the end of the little town of Fowey near the car park ( very convenient if you have a car). Being in Fowey is like going back in time.. it is beautiful, with only one tiny one way street. No car noises! Wonderful restaurants, shops, grocery stores nearby for cooking at the house in the lovely kitchen....
