Cala Galdana: Skivakanties

Habitaciones limpias, amplias y cómodas. Personal muy agradable y colaborador. Desayuno muy variado y con unas vistas espectaculares desde el comedor. Piscina en perfectas condiciones y con cuarto de duchas que pudimos utilizar el último día después del check out mientras esperamos a la hora de nuestro vuelo. Es Castell es un pueblo muy tranquilo y con mucha oferta para cenar, muy bien situado y a 15 minutos del aeropuerto. Sin duda repetiríamos.

The hotel is nicely situated close to the town which has a lovely beach, a couple of shops and a handful of restaurants which served great food. We stayed in the hotel on a B&B basis. The quality of the food was good, only issue was the number of staff cooking at the station - the chef was trying to cook at three stations so offer had to wait. The replenishing of food also needs to improve as agin often had to ask for things. Requires more waiting staff in the restaurant as service was slow at times - however all the staff worked incredibly hard. The room was spacious. We had an issue with the first room and asked to be moved. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Given this was the prestige section of the hotel, I would have expected an adults only area. This was not the case - I would recommend the hotel look into this as several people have stated similar on their reviews.

Situé près du port de Mahon, environnement calme, chambre avec balcon donnant sur jardin intérieur, petit-déjeuner buffet varié (charcuteries, fromage, tortilla, oeufs à la minute, pancakes, churros, viennoiseries, cookies, ...). Belle salle vitrée avec vue sur la mer, également terrasse extérieure avec vue mer, piscine avec transats en suffisance, endroit reposant, tout en étant proche du centre-ville (+/- 10min à pied), parking gratuit dans la rue, proche aéroport (10min en voiture).

Het hotel is wat aan renovatie toe. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar mist de tijd om de kamers een grondige schoonmaakbeurt te geven. Een keer was de kamer om half vier nog niet schoongemaakt. Ruime keuze aan het buffet, maar erg druk. Aan de bar royale glazen wijn.

Hôtel très charmant dans le centre proche de la cathédrale. Personnel accueillant et serviable. Chambre spacieuse et confortable avec climatisation. Ancienne bâtisse datant de la noblesse espagnol, je recommande.

Came here on our honeymoon and boy was that a bit of a mistake, I had read that Menorca was very family friendly but what I didn't realize was just how many small children would be running around everywhere, the acoustics in the place is awful so prepare not to get any sleep with tiny children screaming in the hallways. Tried to enjoy the pool and couldn't because very 5 seconds a child was doing a cannonball and there's no "adult only" areas. The room was nice but very small, the bed was comfy which was nice. The breakfast buffet was the only redeeming quality. We also got scammed into "valeting" our car for 15 euro- more like they park your car in a dirt lot and then hand you back your key and tell you where to find your car, we learned quick that the dirt lot nearby is open to the public and we can park there whenever we want so we basically paid 15 euro just to have someone move our car to a public lot when they could have just told us how to get there so we could move it ourselves. I also ordered a chicken caesar salad from the lobby restaurant and it came with a bunch of anchovies on top even though it doesn't say that on the menu, I asked for extra chicken since there was only like 3 tiny pieces and they charged me 8 euro for 3 tiny thin strips of dry chicken it was outstanding. in the end we still had a good time because we left the property a lot to avoid the screaming children but needless to say this is definitely not a place for couples looking for relaxation!

Prachtig verblijf Naast de zee. Auto huren is verplicht op Menorca. Personeel was aardig maar bijna nooit aanwezig en kamers waren mooi en schoon Zeker een aanrader. Supermarkt om de hoek en speeltuintje voor de Kids. Ook genoeg parkeer gelegenheid
