Pigeon Island: Skivakanties

This review was for the bay gardens beach resort, as Sapphire was not opened when we went at the end of May/June. When we booked in Nov the previous year, it was supposed to open in Jan. When we checked directly with the resort in Apr, 6 weeks before our arrival, they further confirmed our room would be available. 3 weeks later, they said it would not be open and put us in 2 rooms at bay gardens. Judging by the construction and pace of work, it would be shocking if it will be opened before July or Aug, but looks like it will be very nice when it opens. As for Bay Gardens beach, the staff, particularly our butlers Prisca and Nage were phenomenal, as well as V from the excursion desk. They helped do special things for our anniversary as well as our sons birthday, and reserved areas on beach and by pool for us, as well as getting drinks and making reservations for us. The staff at the spa was also nice. The place NEEDS the new restaurant at sapphire to open. The restaurant on site was ok, though pretty slow. The other properties (hotel, inn and marina) look old and dated and we only had a drink there waiting for shuttle. The rooms at bay gardens beach were ok, though a bit dated and had some maintenance/ant issues. Maintenance and housekeeping were pretty quick to address what they could, but our entire reason for booking was to get a brand new all inclusive (we had booked the 3 br beachfront villa with private pool), so were expecting more for what we paid. Pool and beach good.

Absolutely great place to have a combination of lots of activities, fun and relaxation. The spa treatments were really good . Some of the activities were not properly organised and some of the staff not well informed but the activities we did were great , golf, water skiing , sailing , yoga .

Allereerst een compliment voor de gehele staff. Niets was teveel en iedereen erg attent en warm. Mijn advies neem junior swim up suite all inclusiv want alles maar dan ook alles zit erin. Geen verrassingen na afloop. Het eten is uitzonderlijk goed. Ontbijt ,lunch ,snacks cocktail of dinner alles is gewoon hoge kwaliteit. Verder in de omgeving geen restaurants van enige kwaliteit te vinden. Afstanden met GPS echt met 2x de tijd verdubbelen want rijden most gewoon meer tijd ivm staat vd weg en alles door de Bergen. Neem lokale gids ipv alles vooraf boeken ga erheen en doe dan je ding. Hotel heeft ook een geweldig strand met activitieiten zoals peddle board of Kajak. Zeer mooi en rustig strand. Voor de romantici onder ons kun je ( niet inprijs inbegrrpen) een afzonderlijk diner op de pier bestellen bij ondergaande zon. Al met al een top lokatie met top Jensen.

Our family had the most amazing vacation! We traveled with our four teenagers and our 7-year-old, and every one of us had an unforgettable experience. Our villa was beautiful and the perfect place for our family to relax and spend time together. The resort offered so many wonderful amenities that there was truly something for everyone. One of the biggest surprises was the kids club. We hadn't planned on using it, but our 7-year-old absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go back each day. The staff made her feel so comfortable, welcomed, and cared for, which gave us complete peace of mind. It quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. I have never stayed at a resort that was so impeccably maintained and spotless. Every area of the property from the grounds to the restaurants, pools, and our villa was exceptionally clean. The attention to detail was evident everywhere and truly set this resort apart. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. I honestly can't say enough about them. Every single person we encountered was genuinely warm, friendly, and eager to help. It seemed like each staff member was even kinder than the last, and the level of service was outstanding from beginning to end. This was one of the best family vacations we've ever taken, and we are already talking about coming back. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable. We can't wait to return!

The photos do not do this property justice. It was maintained to perfection and the staff was available for whatever requests you had. I felt safe the entire time and there were plenty of offsite excursions as well as just staying in to enjoy the view from your room. There was plenty to do on the property alone, from hiking to morning yoga to visiting the spa or just reading a book in the treehouse or a hammock. Food at the restaurant was excellent and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast. The menu for dinner rotated every couple days and we had the opportunity to try other restaurants in the area. We are definitely going to return to the property again.
