We really enjoyed our stay at Margaritaville in Nassau! When we first checked in, they "upgraded" us to a room with a kitchenette in the Suites building. Our view had a glimpse of ocean and lots of palm trees, so I asked if we could move to a different one. Jeanette at the front desk was very accommodating and moved us into the main building on the 9th floor! Our view was spectacular!! We overlooked the pool and ocean and could view the cruise ships coming and going! The pool area is very well maintained and has a lazy river which is so relaxing! The Vacation Cafe has excellent breakfasts and dinners! The staff is so nice and the manager came to check on us several times! The only place that wasn't top notch was the rooftop bar. That service was marginal. You can easily walk to the Straw Market and The Fish Fry, plus the area that the cruise ships dock! The Blue Marlin and the Lukka Kairi are two places I highly recommend! Everything was very nice. Our only complaint is that September is not a great time to go because we were sometimes the only ones in the restaurant! It is definitely the Bahamas' off season!
