La Alpujarra: All-inclusive vakanties

Great hotel. Lunch and diner limited. Not the cheapest also.

Just like every year, it was really good, we had a very nice time and everybody was happy. Till next year!!

Super hotel, vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging, heerlijk zwembad, lekkere kamers.

Uitzicht op strand met groot balkon. En handige p garage onder hotel. 1 minuut van strand.

Unfortunately, the service did not live up to what you would expect from a five-star hotel. There were several small things that together made the experience disappointing. For example, staff were vacuuming the breakfast area while guests were still eating, which felt very inappropriate for a hotel of this standard. It was also surprisingly impossible to get a coffee between 10:30 and 11:00. More concerning, however, was the attitude when we raised these issues. Instead of listening and trying to find a solution, the response was often to question our feedback or explain that “this is our routine.” At a five-star hotel, you expect flexibility, attention to detail and a genuine focus on the guest experience — not explanations about internal routines. The hotel itself may have five-star facilities, but unfortunately the service during our stay did not feel five-star.
