Côte du Rhode Island : Vacances tout compris

We paid $700 per night for a two-bedroom room, choosing this hotel specifically because we were traveling with an infant and expected a comfortable, family-friendly resort experience. Unfortunately, this hotel was anything but baby- or toddler-friendly. First, the hotel’s listing says cribs are available, but what we were actually provided was a Cosco Pack ’n Play without a proper sheet cover. If you advertise cribs for families traveling with babies, I would expect an appropriate and safe sleeping setup—not simply a bare Pack ’n Play. Second, the room is advertised as having “blackout curtains.” While there are curtains, they only cover about 90% of the window, leaving a significant amount of light coming into the room. With an infant who needs daytime naps, this made it essentially impossible to create a dark sleeping environment. The worst issue was the air conditioning. It was extremely loud, to the point that I was startled every time it turned on or off. Even with white noise running, the adults in the room had difficulty sleeping. For a room costing $700 a night, I find this completely unacceptable. Finally, the pool closes at 8 PM. For a resort hotel, an 8 PM pool closing feels unnecessarily early. Families often return from dinner or activities later in the evening and would reasonably expect to be able to enjoy the resort amenities. Overall, we paid a premium price expecting a comfortable, family-friendly stay, and the experience simply did not justify the cost.

This is a beautiful and unique property that offers large, clean and very comfortable accommodations that include beautiful outdoor spaces to sit and relax. Would highly recommend.

This stay was amazing. We just did a mini get away for our first time in Rhode Island and not only are we in love with the state but also the apartment was amazing we didn’t want to leave. Everything was cleaned and up to par the building was quiet and clean as well. Check in and out was effortless. We cannot wait to come back and book again! Thank you so much!

We were quite disappointed in our stay. The room was dated, not maintained. Might have been grand 30 years ago, but at this point seems to be riding on old glory. Specifically the toilet was loose, bathroom door couldn't close, only one electric socket under the bed, the AC was really loud, the only light came from 2 bedside lamps. And there was no possibility to get breakfast?!
