Alles etwas abgelebt, hätte eine Rnovation nötig. Es gab nur 2 Kaffeekapseln und 2 Schnellkaffee Tütchen, kein Wasser umsonst. Zu wenige Steckdosen, Kaution von 100 Euro wird beim Einchecken eingefordert. Badetücher müssen an der Reception geholt und wieder abgegeben werden. Alles ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen. Das Essen ist ok aber nicht berauschend, die Lage ist hingegen super, direkt am Meer mit grossem Strand. Das Frühstück im 2. Stock ist vielfältig und die Aussicht top. Alles in allem trotzdem nur Mittelmässig.

We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy and natural feel. The atmosphere varied quite a bit during our stay – it was very quiet on weekdays, while the weekend brought in more (seemingly younger) guests, likely there just for a short break. Breakfast was generous and tasty, though it’s pre-prepared rather than à la carte. A highlight was definitely the cappuccino – one of the best we’ve ever had! Dinner was tasty as well: while the portions were on the smaller side and the menu a bit limited (and not cheap), the quality and flavors were excellent. There’s no gym on-site, but the comfort of the room makes up for that. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bath with a view over the landscape was a real treat. All in all, a special place to disconnect and enjoy the quiet, natural beauty of Réunion.

Nous sommes loin des standards d’un 5*. Au mieux un 4*. Accueil sommaire : on prend nos documents et on nous dit : ok c’est bon. Rien de plus. Une présentation de l’hôtel réduite à 2 phrases : « La-bas la piscine et la salle des petits déjeuners. Ah oui, on a aussi une salle de sport H24 » Pas de bouilloire en chambre et choix de thé limité. Entretien maintenance moyen : éclairage en panne, join de salle de bain grossier. Qualité du papier toilettes et serviettes de bain médiocre.
