Roda Island: Golfvakanties

Very bad experience at Hotel Viaje Downtown Caïro Upon arrival, we were given an “upgrade,” but the room was completely unfinished: no air conditioning, no wardrobe, and nothing like the photos. The next day we were moved to another room, which was acceptable for the price and location. The staff were friendly though. However, our stay was completely ruined by a serious safety issue. During our stay, several personal items (make-up) went missing from our room. At first, we thought it was a mistake, but it kept happening. This made us feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. We reported this to the manager, who promised an investigation and compensation before our departure. On the day of check-out, he was not there, and after that we never heard from him again. To this day, there has been no response and no resolution. This situation overshadowed and ruined our entire vacation. In addition, the photos of the hotel are misleading, the lift is extremely small, and the building feels unsafe due to poor stairways and abandoned areas. Most of the written reviews also do not match our experience at all — they seem like they were written for a completely different place. Conclusion: friendly staff and good location, but poor rooms, lack of safety, and no proper service. Absolutely not recommended.

The South Tower is very old and room is very small. The next day I switch to north tower which is part of my Viking cruise. it is completely different. More upscale and roomier. I wish I know it before I booked. I still have two more nights after finishing my Viking tour. I will talk to front desk and hopefully I can find a way to stay in North Tower instead of South Tower.

Great location and amazing service! Very clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient shops right around the corner. Perfect place for a relaxed stay. Will definitely return!

Would definitely recommend to others. Great experience
