Indian Cove Boy Scout Trail: Avontuurlijke vakanties

Seriously the most amazing resort out here you won’t regret it

Never felt more catfished by a hotel in my life. The first room we were given was dark and dingey, the shades were broken, and we found the last guest's leftover takeout boxes in the mini fridge. However, it was late at night when we checked in, so we decided to wait until morning to address the issues. However, the hotel was conducting fire alarm testing the entire next morning, which was not disclosed in advance to us. We only found out from a piece of paper that was slipped under the door. The testing included an ear-splitting alarm that sounded off and on for over three hours, making it nearly impossible to work or rest. The elevators were also out of commission during this period, making it impossible to relocate to a different room with our bags. When we were finally able to get into a different room, we discovered that the sink in the bathroom was broken and would not drain at all. However, the room was larger and slightly less dingey than the first room, so we decided to cut our losses and stay in that room despite the broken sink, rather than risk getting moved again to a room with another problem. The lobby of the hotel was also very dirty. Neither room had a coffee maker, which seems bizarre given the price per night of the room. The hotel Wi-Fi was also very slow and spotty. Perhaps I should have known better, but our stay was so comically abysmal, I feel compelled to write this review so that others might be spared the same disappointing experience.
