Zuidelijke Stille Oceaan: Avontuurlijke vakanties

Goed verblijf gehad bij The Pearl. Internet lag er uit toen we incheckten waardoor ze op dat moment geen kamersleutels konden uitgeven. De competene en gastvrije dame achter de balie had snel een work around gevonden + had meteen een spa afspraak voor ons geregeld. Spa medewerkers waren zeer gastvrij en masseerden goed. Blij dat we op zo'n korte termijn terecht konden. Kamer was ruim, schoon en modern. Lekker groot bed. Fijn dat er een koffie en thee faciliteit op de kamer aanwezig was en ook een klein koelkastje. Avondeten was mooi smaakte, was mooi opgemaakt en live muziek was goed. Kortom: alleen goede woorden over de accommodatie of haar medewerkers.

Grote golfbaan bij het resort. Afwisselend eten in het buffetrestaurant dmv thema avonden, Indiase avond, bbq avond, Chinese avond, visavond enz. Leuke animatie.

Stayed 4 nights in a Club Room in August. The balcony floor tiles had not been cleaned as still had spills from previous occupants; shower was not clean as it should be. Property has lovely gardens, but there is no attention to detail. The rubbish bins by the adult pool were not emptied during our stay, pool lounger covers stained and grubby, and food and drink stains on tiled pool surrounds. The pool itself was clean but surrounding areas around the pool were never cleaned or hosed down. Buffet was ok and dining at the restaurants, food was generally good. Staff were sometimes overwhelmed when it was busy. One evening at the Sunset Bar one staff member was trying to put cushions out on all the chairs and sofas while guests were trying sit down, which ended up with guests sitting on cushion backs instead of cushion seats. Another evening one of the managers was sitting down one end of the bar in the Hibiscus Lounge doing admin work, which is not a good look. The tables in this lounge had not been wiped clean. This is advertised as 5 star, but it is not, it is average. There should be Managers in place, who check the standard of cleaning, even the stairs up into the restaurants/bar areas were dirty, how hard would it be to hose down.

Beautifull view of the beach and the sea from the bure/room. Also a great view from the bar. The area of the resort looks good and are good maintained. The room is very clean and tidy. There is only WIFI available in the mainbuilding, not in the bure/room. You got to pay for the WIFI. The food tast good, only the beverages are to expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Good resort, very clean, nice setting. Staff is lovely, their travel desk can be a bit pushy in offering only their tours (Pele island didn't exist because they didn't offer a tour to it for instance...). Thing to improve is the breakfast. Pancakes, canned fruit, Vegemite and some very dry pastries and that was it. Anything else had to be paid for.

The staff here were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. The place was spotless, the scenery was beautiful, and the food was amazing. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Merveilleux resort, plus que luxueux: merveilleusement raffiné et élégant. La gentillesse de l’accueil et en particulier du directeur de l’hôtel, la villa sur la plage avec piscine, le jardin incroyable, le service aussi parfait que souriant, tout était vraiment parfait. Notre plus beau séjour en Polynésie à recommander absolument!

The hotel was really nice! The staff was amazing! They came sit at your table and speak with you, and they sang for us! They were really helpfull and nice. We really liked the scenery and the quiteness of the location. However, if you would want to leave the hotel you have to walk a 4km road that is hilly, or you can be dropped off by the hotel at the road for a fee.
