Coral Coast: Strandvakanties

I stayed in the reef Bure room which was insanely gorgeous with unmatched views with your own private beach access. Very spacious and clean on the far east of the resort. We were generously provided with many complimentary extras such as a buggy, minibar, 30 min massage and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room. This resort is located on a natural beach so winds were constant since we arrived which was a little disappointing (mid September). Resort had many water activities to participate in when the weather was good like snorkelling, kayaking, jet skiing etc. I will say they’re are big on booking a reservation at certain restaurants and this is done by calling the front desk. Conveniently front desk will only answer these calls when they feel like it and if you decide to just show up to a restaurant due to this, be prepared to face attitude, salt face and lecturing about booking. Unfortunately, due to this system of deciding when to answer our calls we missed out on our massage. I was happy to pay for that regardless to extent the duration however no one wanted to answer. Resort is beautiful however I wish we were given a proper tour, we got quite lost our first night as we arrived in the evening we nearly made our way out of the resort with all the twists and turns, forget about directions or signs. You are on your own to navigate the huge property which the public can also access with cars and buses. Personally I wouldn’t return. I value experience 1st

Ideal for young families but not cheap and the food was only good not great.

Beautifull view of the beach and the sea from the bure/room. Also a great view from the bar. The area of the resort looks good and are good maintained. The room is very clean and tidy. There is only WIFI available in the mainbuilding, not in the bure/room. You got to pay for the WIFI. The food tast good, only the beverages are to expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Overall, we had a lovely stay and are glad we went! The kids' club was fantastic for our 4-year-old, though the mandatory 12:00–2:00 PM closure felt a bit inconvenient—it made the mornings feel rushed if we wanted to get out and do anything. Our main disappointment was the food, the options were fairly limited and buffet breakfast didn't quite live up to expectations. Still, a lovely family trip overall but would stay at Denarau if we return to Fiji in the future as there is more access to different places to eat and closer to the marina etc
