« The place is very small. Very clean. The bed was on a platform that was very high. Once in the bed, it was very comfortable My 6 ft husband had no problem getting in, but it was very difficult for me to get in and out of the bed. The space heater was helpful. No central or baseboard heating. Got cold last night. Not fancy. But easy to get to. Nice surroundings for a one night stay. »

« We stayed at Bears Den for 3 nights. It is a cute cabin with remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Fully stocked with everything you need. The bedroom however is very small and it's located right as you walk in the door. No room on either side of the bed to walk around. Wish the bedroom had a ceiling fan. It got really warm with no circulation. There's just one small three drawer dresser in the room. Another drawback is the smell of sulfur everytime you turn on the water. We dealt with it, but...

« Loved this cabin and its location. It's conveniently close to both Durango and Pagosa Springs, but out of the way enough to be very quiet and peacful and to see a lot of wildlife outside. I particularly appreciated the fact that there are miles and miles of hiking trails extending out of the neighborhood. We stayed for five nights, and were feeling pretty settled in by the end.
