Guest Access:

You will have the entire house and property to yourself. Only registered guests are allowed, unless specifically agreed during the booking process. We encourage taking walks on our property, however please be careful not to wander into our neighbors' backyards in the surrounding area.

Pipes Canyon is a coveted High Desert location, offering serenity and stunning natural beauty. Surrounded by flat-top lava buttes, towering boulders, and iconic Joshua trees, it boasts minimal light and noise pollution. Adjacent to Sand to Snow National Monument and Pioneertown Mountains Preserve, it’s perfect for hiking and exploration.

Let’s not forget about the essentials — supermarket, liquor store, drugstore, and gas station are within 20 minutes by car.



Getting Around:

This is a remote location accessed via unpaved roads, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four-wheel-drive vehicle is not necessary, though roads may have ruts, especially after rain.



Other Things to Note:

• DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized.



• PROFESSIONAL CLEANING: Every Homestead Modern home is professionally cleaned between stays by experienced independent cleaning teams. After cleaning, each home is inspected by a member of our own local staff before the next guest arrives, providing an additional level of quality control and helping ensure the home is clean, prepared, and guest-ready.



• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.



• EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



•HOT TUB HEATING: Heating for hot tub is included in your rental.



•POOL

No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the pool and hot tub area. No glass can be around the pool and hot tub, there are plastic cups in the kitchen to be used outside. Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 10pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.



• ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain
