Overall, this home worked out well for our multi-family trip to Yosemite. We had the max amount of people and still had enough space to hang out upstairs together, and the back deck was nice for morning coffee. Being inside the park was key so we didn't have to wait at the gate each morning, and the trail to Chilnualna Fall is right behind the house! The kitchen was well-stocked and both the kitchen and bathrooms seemed newly remodeled and were clean.
Now for the cons. Bedrooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures. House is old and quirky(it is a cabin, after all).We technically had enough sleeping space but ended up putting one teenage boy on the floor downstairs because there was not a futon as it states in the description. Downstairs was smelly and there was a sticky trap under the bed. Upstairs, the floors were definitely not cleaned, rugs not vacuumed, and the furniture was all pushed to the side as if someone had forgotten to put it back. We tried wiping a floor tile to see if it was just our imagination and it came up black! There was dried spaghetti sauce on the table. We ran out of TP, paper towels and garbage bags by day 2 and called for more, which they brought, but you'd think for the price they would have extra supplies there when the place is booked for 12 people.
In the end, we decided the location and upstairs space in the cabin made this a nice stay for our family. Just be aware that you are paying a premium for location, not luxury!
