'This is an excellent affordable option if you want to visit the holy sites in Glastonbury on a budget. It's a 45 minute walk over Wyrryl hill to the Tor and Wells. There is decent shopping close and a bus you can get to Wells. The bed is comfortable and the rooms have very good facilities ifr making tea and coffee. The water is hot and it has reliable WFI. The staff is friendly. I will stay there again for sure if I'm in the area. '

'This is such a lovely hotel. Really welcoming staff, comfortable, quiet room and close to shops and eating places in Chard. The breakfast was so good, cooked to order, really can't fault anything. '

'We stayed for one night en route to a week’s holiday in Cornwall. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was a good one. We had reserved a table for our evening meal (along with our dog) and thoroughly enjoyed the food.'

'Lovely views from the property, with local walks. We saw geese flying from the lake which was a surprise. The farmhouse was rustic, but pleasant and comfortable. Breakfasts were substantial, and Kate always helpful.'
