'The house has the characteristics of a peaceful era of time gone by! If walls could talk the history of the house would be full of stories! At one time it was probably the queen peering over the bay, anticipating the arrival of fishing boats! The house was clean and accommodating for our stay! Enjoyed the daily visitation of the humming birds! Amazing! Thank you for sharing your home with us!'

'We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation!'

'Nice 3 bedroom house with everything you need. Well stocked kitchen (spices, oil, coffee stuff, paper towels, cooking and grilling tools, plenty of dishes, etc.) with all the appliances, outdoor grill and dining area, large bathroom with tub/shower combo plus a clothes washer and dryer, and the TV is great! The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Great place for 4 adults to hole up as Hurricane Fiona hit Nova Scotia.'

'Quaint rustic cottage, just as advertised.The place was extremely clean and very close to the Main Street in Berwick. Communicating with the owner was easy and he responded to all of my questions within minutes. Would definitely recommend.'

'The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend.'

'We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!!'

'Only stayed 1 of 3 nights. I filter my search with 2 bedroom min. There was only one and a sitting living room with couch conversion. Then there was the ants. Within a few min of placing food on the counter ther was over a dozen ants. We cleaned those up. And called the manager. Kudos on the quick response. But their solution was to spray ant poision on the counter then clean after it. They left us the poision and the cleaning solution fo us to repeat. A few min later ants were on the counter...

'We stayed here with our three kids, 18, 14 and 11. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy plus lots of family space too. Very quiet road but still close to all the amenities that Wolfville and Port Williams have to offer, not to mention wineries, cideries, antique stores and fun adventures to be had. Will definitely be looking to stay here again when we are next in the area.'

'Nice, quiet inn with pretty decent amenities. The small appliances provided make the visit so much easier if you’re wanting a lazy stay-cation. The tub was nice for the romantic getaway we were hoping for. I’m sure we’ll be visiting again.'
