« Lovely and clean, easy to find, dogs and horses friendly, would definitely stay again »

« The staff were very helpful & we had an excellent cooked breakfast. »

« For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location. »

« From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Can fault anything. »

« Tom, Thank you ever so much for your kind hospitality. Your place is absolutely charming, and your hosting really deserve a 10/10. Laurent »

« Good rooms cosy bar good food convenient to all shops »

Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village. »

« very comfortable - didn't use the amenities just had coffee in my room. Will stay again if I'm down in that area. »

The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...
