Great Host, and a very nice house. The host was always in touch and very tentative making sure we are not missing anything or need help. All the information was provided on time, there were text reminders that were very helpful. The house was clean, cozy and close to all kind of attractions. We will definitely comeback.

The home is pretty worn. For the price, and given I’ve stayed at others in community, the lack of good beds, nice furniture and flooring that isn’t cracked or separated was disappointing. The managing group at Springbrook is fantastic…owner just needs to make some improvements.

Ski trip

Great location for our ski trip to Cascade (20 min) and Devils Head (30 min). The house was very nice and perfect amount of space for the 10 of us. Pay close attention to what the host says is provided. We didn’t have any salt, containers with lids, zip loc bags, laundry soap, cleaning supplies….all things we could have used. We will definitely consider staying again for our annual trip.

We had 3 kids and 4 adults. The size was perfect and was loaded with games for bad weather! Lower level was awesome with bar and theater like area. Kids loved the shuffle board and pool table. Microwave broke but maintenance brought one right away! Could use some new caulking in shower and tub areas. Some trash not dumped. TV in livingroom only played DVD's. Overall a really good place!

Great accommodations for large family event

Property is in a nice community setting. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Living area is big and downstairs living room is very nice. Game room in basement is well set up. Bathrooms were nice and well stocked. Community pool was wonderful and designed for families and small children as well.

Dog Friendly Home - Not Good

I was not aware until about a week before my stay that this home allowed dogs. Upon arrival, the home was in need of deep cleaning, especially the basement. Carpet in both bedrooms was dark and dirty, mouldings were also dirty throughout the house. Honestly, it is just in need of some updating. Around 11pm that night, one of my family members discovered small bugs in both beds in lower level. We weren't sure if they were fleas or not but needless to say, they had to stay in the living room upstairs. Management was so very nice about it, they found us a different rental home and we were able to move our things by 11am that next day. I don't want to be too hard on these owners as I'm sure when you allow pets, this is an ongoing issue. The new rental home was just gorgeous and very clean. We would recommend Spring Brook for sure.

New Years Weekend Ski Trip

We booked the house for our group of 8 people. The listing seemed to have everything we wanted in order to have fun. The house was nice, but needs some updating. Although it was pretty clean, we did have to vacuum when we arrived because of dog hair on the carpet. The basement was filled with games to play, which we loved, but the air hockey table wasn’t functioning and the foosball table was broken. The bedrooms were clean and well-decorated, but the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Many opted to sleep on the sleeper-sofas instead. Lastly, the fridge in the kitchen wouldn’t get colder than about 45 degrees and the freezer was about 26. We used the basement fridge and the patio to keep food cold. These changes would improve the quality of the house. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

We had a really good time here. The house was a little dated but fine overall. There was plenty of space for my family of 5, my brothers family of 3 and my mom and dad. If I was in the dells I would definitely stay here again. The pool was great for the kids and the club house had pretty good food. The house was a short drive from downtown dells but far enough from all the commotion.

Cute, but needs work!!

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary with eleven family, kids & grandkids. One bed frame down stairs was broken. Down stairs floor was very damp. One grandson brought his sleeping bag up to the laundry room to sleep. The floors upstairs were dirty, bare feet were black! Ice machine didn't work. Shower floor in master room sages when you stand to shower. The decorations of bears were nice. Everyone complained about how poor the mattress are. But we enjoyed our family with outdoor entertainment.

Excellent experience! Convenient location for family wedding in nearby Mauston, but also close to fun Dells attractions and restaurants. Beautiful home with exceptionally comfortable furnishings. Screen porch, game room, and home theatre real bonus!

Needs some cleaning and maintenance

The location was good and the games in the lower level were fun. There are plenty of bedrooms and the kitchen is pretty well stocked. Unfortunately, the house was not very clean which had a negative impact on our stay. We contacted the management company and they made amends after apologizing for the inconvenience. We would suggest better mattresses and pillows, a deep clean (your guests want to be able to walk throughout the house without needing shoes - nobody likes to have black feet), and some maintenance to fix a few issues. Overall, this could be a very nice place to stay with a little more TLC.
