This house was the perfect retreat from the summer heat. It was very clean and all of the bedrooms were comfortable Sue was very responsive by text to any questions we had about the house and surrounding areas. We loved the Foothill regional park and walked it every morning. Wonderful wineries, restaurants and farmers markets were close by. We hope to make it back sometime soon.

Everything lived up to great expectations

Well kept home, kitchen was stocked well and exactly as pictured. Great hosts, easy to reach for questions. Comfortable beds and clean! The only surprise was a second rental agreement to sign within a week of checkin, and disclosure of security cameras on property.

Outdoor retreat

The location was great, very quiet neighborhood. The weather was perfect but a little chilly for the pool. We did however use the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. So relaxing and a great space for my family!

Great for your wine-tasting trip!

Sue and Barry are great hosts! Very communicative, super helpful on things to do and restaurants to reserve. They also greeted our arrival with a kind note and bottle of wine. We would highly recommend for a group of friends or family who wish to be a quick drive from the many wineries or shops in the area.

Excellent communication, helpful hosts

This property is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from many stores, restaurants, etc. Furniture is nice, home is very clean, and the back lawn is excellent. The check-in process is challenging, especially in the dark, an outside light would have been helpful. The hosts are great, very helpful and easy to transact with.

Friend and Family Reunion

Had a mini reunion with family and close friends (7 adults) stayed in Windsor area to tour local vineyards and sights. Property owners (Barry & Sue) were great! Incredibly easy to reach before and after booking, attentive to questions/concerns & gave great recommendations. We had a couple celebrating an anniversary with us and Sue recommended the perfect local place for a couples night out that they loved. Property was clean, as advertised and area was a quiet, safe residential neighborhood with nearby shopping/dinning. The outdoor space was privat and comfortable. Definitely would recommend and stay here again. Thank Sue and Barry!

The House at Windsor

We enjoyed our stay at this Windsor house. The house is lovely, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, well stocked with many essentials along with lots of unexpected extras and has a lovely outdoor area. It was well suited for our five day family gathering. We enjoyed the pool, the outdoor games and the spacious grilling area. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, probably anything we would need to prepare for a small or large group. Barry and Sue provided us with a lot of information on the area, wineries, restaurants, shops and entertainment and were very helpful during our stay. Our stay was a gathering of family from across the US and overseas so it provided a delightful gathering place. Please read the advertisement carefully and be aware. The house does not allow for any children under 18 years old, even for a short visit. This required us to rent an AirB&B in the area for one night to meet up with family members with children. The advertisement plainly stated no children and this was my fault, I do not hold the owners responsible for my mistake. I would recommend this to anyone looking for adult only accommodations.

Girl's Getaway

Beautiful home, plenty of space for 5 of us. House was immaculate, well equipped with kitchen & bath essentials, the pool & outdoor area very relaxing. Location close to shopping, restaurants & wineries. Loved having Foothills state park few steps away. Owners great in communicating, so helpful with ideas & suggestions as to places to visit. Highly recommend this property!

Delightful Pool House in Wine Country

We spent 3 nights in this lovely house. The property is very well-appointed, featuring 4 comfortable rooms, 3 bathrooms, and plenty of common areas both inside and out—ideal for our group of 3 couples. It was beautifully maintained, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The location in wine country was perfect, close to tasting rooms and the charming town of Healdsburg. The backyard even connects to a regional park, offering great trails and scenery for those interested in a bit of fitness activities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend

Great outdoor living near beautiful hikes

Sue and Barry were great hosts! The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the open floor plan and the wonderful outdoor dining, seating, kitchen, pool, and hot tub. We took in the Foothills park that had beautiful hiking trails right out the back gate. Great location for taking in the wine country too. Highly recommend!

This place is a 10!

Fabulous property. The hosts have thought of everything! We had 6 adults (would be room for another couple easily). Great outdoor spaces, enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and just a very quick walk to some fantastic hiking trials. Couldn't say enough about this place - we plan to be back :)

Visit Wine Country - Check!

Visiting Wine Country was near the top of our retirement bucket list and staying at Barry and Sue's property was one of the best parts! They couldn't have been better hosts - wish we could have met them! The attention to every little detail in this home was so appreciated! We were SO lucky with the weather for mid October. We were able to enjoy the heated pool, the spa, and the outdoor fireplace! It was so relaxing after a day of wine tasting! (Shout out to Jason Gariss with Sonoma Wine Rides for 2 GREAT days of Wine tastings!) Having Barry and Sue's list of recommended restaurants made dinner plans easy! We especially loved visiting Oliver's Market! Thanks for helping fulfill this bucket list request! We hope to visit again!

Perfect for Healdsburg getaway

Perfectly located for our long weekend visit to Healdsburg. Easy 10-minute drive to town to enjoy wonderful coffee hangouts, restaurants and shopping, and plenty of great wineries within a 20-minute drive. Oliver's Market is an even shorter drive - no words for how wonderful it is! The home is very well equipped inside and out. We enjoyed cooking dinner one of the evenings and eating al fresco. The private backyard is delightful with its pool/spa, bbq, conversation seating around the gas fireplace, and pretty strung lights. The trail system accessible from the house was an added bonus for daily dog walks. Hosts Barry and Sue provided lots of excellent advice on the area and the check-in/check-out process was communicated well and went smoothly. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great wine country retreat

The house was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for- 15 min from pretty much anything we wanted to do, and the pool and hot tub were an amazing way to relax after a day of wine tasting. The house is just as pictured. Barry and Sue were great communicating with before and during our stay. They were very responsive and gave us great recommendations prior to arriving. We would definitely book again if we can make it out to Wine Country again!

Perfect stay in wine country, A+ house and hosts

This property was a perfect getaway for six friends visiting Sonoma County for a long weekend. Its prime location between Santa Rosa and Healdsburg provided ample opportunity for exploring the area's many offerings. The backyard is a great spot to hang out during the day (pool, cornhole, and other yard games) or evening (outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and fireplace). The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and has modern appliances, the bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, the clean bathrooms have several amenities, and the hosts were amiable and communicative. I highly recommend this house and host.
