'Charmant hotel. Heel gezellige ontbijtruimte en voldoende eten. Vriendelijke gastheer. Op wandelafstand van het centrum en gezellige eetgelegenheden. Wij zijn naar Brown sugar gaan eten. Super restaurant. Charmant hotel. Zeker een aanrader. De kamer was heel ruim voor ons 4 en heel gezellig ingericht. Top! '

'My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and lovely, the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was very filling and delicious. Also, the hotel has spacious parking, and it is not too far from Windermere station, the lake, or many restaurants and shops. Each is about a 10-15-minute walk away. I would strongly recommend this hotel as a comfortable base for enjoying the Lake District. The only slightly disappointing point was that we were not informed...

'The Puddle Duck was one of THE BEST places we have ever stayed in! When we arrived, all we could smell were the roses, coming from the incredibly beautiful garden. The property is absolute perfection! We arrived a few hours earlier than planned, but the owner took us right up to our room. It was spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail here is unlike most other places. Nothing has been missed and everything has been tailored to provide you with a perfect stay....
