« We loved the inside of the cottage, it was very clean and beautiful. It had a great view as you can see the lake from the dining table. Host was also helpful and provided us with plastic cups at our request, and gave us a tour. I would definitely recommend. »

« My family and I stayed for a week. The over all cleanliness of the cottage was ok. There was a problem in the primary bedroom with mouse droppings, they were everywhere including on the bed. My daughter in law dealt with it and cleaned the room. The water was yellow but cleared a bit after a few days. The cottage is close to several amenities. The water access was not ideal for small children. »

« Perfect stay ! A wonderful week of vacation! Very easy communication with Nick. The cottage is exceptionally clean. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms spacious. We enjoyed every moment both on the dock, on the lake and around the campfire. . We had a great time with the family in the playroom. And what about the silence .... much appreciated in these times. « The Over the Moon Cottages are an excellent location for convenience of being close to downtown Bala amenities and direct access to the lake across the road. We stayed in Unit #4 which was a one bedroom and more than enough space for the two of us. The only hiccup we experienced was no working wifi on the first day which was resolved by the owner for our second morning. There must have been a pet that stayed prior to us as there was a lot of hair which needed to be swept up. Overall, we would...

« This cottage is more of a high end lake house. The amenities are top of the line and the house is very spacious. Amazing stars at night when the weather/skies cooperate! Great owners too! »

« Was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival to a suite which was excellent except it had steep stairs and I was travelling with an elderly person. Loved the upgrade but should have been told at the time about the stairs. Was ok, we made it work. Beach area is lovely with a very large clear view of the lake, very quiet and very much enjoyed sunrise and sunset sitting on Muskoka chairs on the dock. Could do a better job of removing spider webs at beach house entrance, and the weeds and bird...

« Beautiful cottage on a beautiful location. The boat house allowed us to remain shaded ( or out in the sun) so that we could watch our children enjoy the water trampoline, fish off of the dock, use the paddle board, canoe or kayaks. We had our own boat so added activities were water skiing and wake boarding. Never a dull moment! So many memories. »
